Join us on an incredible hike along the popular Blue Trail, which follows the Ilulissat Icefjord and offers breathtaking views of the iconic landscape with its icebergs and mountains. This route combines raw nature and tranquility. We can walk with a couple of our sled dogs who also enjoy some exercise (if you would like). The dogs add a fun, cozy atmosphere, making it a unique experience to hike alongside these energetic and happy companions. The Blue Trail leads you through varied terrain with beautiful views of the Icefjord and surrounding landscapes. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to take photos and experience Greenland’s nature up close. Our guide will share insights into the area's history, nature, and Greenlandic culture, while the dogs provide companionship and joyful moments. Ca. 5-6 km.

Dogsledding in the backcountry

Come alone, or bring the whole family along on our most popular dog sledding tour, a 6.5 km adventure through the stunning backcountry of Ilulissat. This tour is ideal for all ages and provides a gentle introduction to dog sledding in Greenland’s magnificent landscape. We follow a mostly flat trail along a traditional sled route, surrounded by beautiful mountains that create a breathtaking backdrop the entire way. Along the journey, we soak in the fresh Arctic air and enjoy the unique tranquility, only interrupted by the cheerful barking of the dogs and the sound of the sled gliding over the snow. When we reach the foot of Akinaaq Mountain, we’ll take a break to warm up with a delicious hot drink. Here, everyone will have a chance to play with and pet our friendly sled dogs, who always love the attention. Fishing Trip in the Bay

Join us for an exciting fishing trip in the bay, where we’ll try our luck catching cod, catfish, flounder, and maybe even crabs, if we're lucky! Our experienced guide will take you out into the fjord, where you'll have the chance to fish in the pristine Arctic waters and test your skills on some of Greenland's most popular fish species. Along the way, we’ll stop at the best fishing spots and hope that luck is on our side. If we’re lucky, we could catch cod or catfish, but flounder and crabs are also a possibility. This will be a fun and educational experience, where you’ll learn about fishing in Greenland and perhaps take some fresh fish home with you! Ca. 1,5 - 2 hours.

Over the years, we’ve seen the ice change, the fjord become less stable, and the icebergs move differently than they used to. We share the personal experiences and observations we’ve gathered, offering a unique perspective on how climate change is affecting our lives and the natural environment we’ve always been so closely connected to. In this lecture, we’ll also explore the geological processes behind the ice, how they shape our environment, and how we as a people have adapted to these changes. Seal-hunt in the icefiord

Join us on an authentic seal hunting trip in the Icefjord and Bay, where we head out to catch our dinner. This is a unique opportunity to experience a traditional Greenlandic hunting adventure, where we hunt for seals in the Arctic waters and use every part of the animal – both for food and for the skin, which can be used for clothing, for example. During the hunt, our experienced guide and skipper will take you into the fjord, where we’ll search for seals in the magnificent nature.
