Fishing Adventure — Ilulissat

Enjoy a cozy and authentic fishing trip in the calm waters around Ilulissat, either in the fjords or out in the open bay.

🚩 We pick you up in our bus!
We begin at our garage, where all equipment is stored. Here you’ll get fitted with warm gear (if needed), receive a safety briefing, and meet your local guide.

🎣 Traditional Greenlandic Fishing
We fish the traditional way using hand lines and local knowledge passed down through generations. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced angler, this is a relaxed, down-to-earth experience focused on nature, good company, and (hopefully) a fresh catch.

🚤 Cooking Your Catch
Once we catch fish, we sail out to our cozy cabin to prepare the meal together. On nice days, we can even cook directly on the boat, surrounded by icebergs in the middle of the bay — a truly unique greenlandic dining experience.

🧭 Locally Guided & Relaxed
Our guides share stories, tips, and knowledge about Greenlandic fishing and the surrounding nature, making this trip both educational and fun.

☕ Warm Drinks & Snacks
We provide warm drinks and snacks throughout the trip to keep you comfortable while enjoying the breathtaking scenery.

Practical information

  • The tour lasts about 2-3 hours.
  • All necessary equipment for the fishing trip will be provided.
  • Be prepared to be out on open water, so it is important to bring warm clothes and clothes that can get wet (we have warm suits if needed). 
  • Remember sunglasses and sun protection, especially in summer, as the sun can be strong.
  • We recommend bringing a small backpack with snacks and water for the trip.
