1) The Ice Lecture
Join us as we share our personal experiences with Greenland's awe-inspiring ice fjords and what it’s like to grow up in this harsh, Arctic landscape. In our ice lecture, we not only present facts and knowledge about the ice fjord but also tell our own story – a story of living close to the ice and witnessing its changes firsthand. We have grown up surrounded by the ice, which has always been an integral part of our everyday lives – both as a wondrous and challenging resource. Over the years, we’ve seen the ice change, the fjord become less stable, and the icebergs move differently than they used to. We share the personal experiences and observations we’ve gathered, offering a unique perspective on how climate change is affecting our lives and the natural environment we’ve always been so closely connected to. In this lecture, we’ll also explore the geological processes behind the ice, how they shape our environment, and how we as a people have adapted to these changes. You’ll gain insight into how the ice has shaped our lives and culture – and how we continue to feel its transformations, both physically and emotionally.2) The Dog Sledding Lecture
Come and enjoy an inspiring and educational experience in our dog sledding lecture, where you’ll get an in-depth look at the world of sled dogs.
