Arctic Combo Adventure!
GL

Arctic Combo Adventure — (End of Season).

Join us for an extraordinary Arctic Combo Adventure to the remote area of some of the frozen lakes in the backcountry. This end-of-season tour combines boat travel past icebergs, authentic dogsledding, and unique Arctic wildlife encounters in one unforgettable day.

🚩 Meeting Point – Ilulissat Harbour
We meet at the (perhaps in the garage if you need warm suits) harbour in Ilulissat and board our boat. After a safety briefing, we head north into the fjord system.

🚤 Boat Ride (approx. 20 km / ~30-50 min)
Sail through breathtaking Arctic scenery, passing icebergs and dense sea ice. This route offers a high chance of spotting Greenland whales (bowhead whales), which are often seen in the area during the end of the season, along with seals and other Arctic wildlife.

🐕 Arrival at Our Dog Camp – End of Season Atmosphere
We arrive at our remote dog camp. Meet our sled dogs and learn about life at the camp as the dogsled season comes to an end.

🛷 Dogsled Ride (approx. 45–60 min)
Experience the thrill of gliding across the icy landscape behind a team of Greenlandic sled dogs and Jørgen (5x greenlandic champion). Snow and ice conditions vary at this time of year, making each dogsled ride a truly unique experience.

📸 Scenic Stops & Time with the Dogs
Enjoy the dramatic Arctic surroundings, take photos, and spend time with the dogs while hearing stories about dogsledding traditions and life in remote Greenland.

Warm Drinks & Snacks
Warm up with hot drinks and light snacks at the camp while enjoying the silence and raw beauty of the Arctic.

🚤 Boat Ride Back to Ilulissat
We sail back through the fjords, again keeping an eye out for Greenland whales and wildlife, before returning to Ilulissat.

📍 Season: End of dogsled season (April–May).
Duration: Approx. 6–8 hours.
