Mountain Adventure by Snowmobile — Ilulissat
Experience the wild beauty of Greenland on this active arctic mountain adventure combining hiking and snowmobile exploration (an alternative tour to our Dogsledding in the Mountains - until we get more snow near Ilulissat).
🚩 Meeting Point – Ilulissat
We will pick you up at your hotel, and offer you warm clothes at our garage.
🛵 Snowmobile Ride to Our Backcountry Cabin (18 km / ~30 min)
We depart from Ilulissat and travel all the way to our remote backcountry cabin, located approximately 18 km outside the city. You will be a passenger on the journey — either seated behind the driver on the snowmobile or comfortably placed in a closed trailer, sheltered from the wind.
Along the way, you’ll experience the raw greenlandic landscape as we head into the wilderness and towards our cozy red cabin in the middle of nowhere.
📸 Viewpoint Over Icefjord & Ice-Sheet
From the cabin, we ride further by snowmobile to one of our favorite viewpoints overlooking the Icefjord, glaciers, and the mighty Greenland Ice-Sheet. Take photos and enjoy the silence of the Arctic.
☕ Lunch & Hygge at the Cabin
Back at the cabin, we warm up with hot drinks and enjoy light lunch and snacks in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.
🛵 Snowmobile Back & Hike Down
After relaxing at the cabin, we ride back by snowmobile to the mountain top and finish the adventure with a scenic hike down to Ilulissat.
